It's not a big deal if you work in a state-owned company because you can always get promoted when you've been working here for certain period, especially when you are in the lower- ranking position.

It's the final week of September, 2010 and my promotion is happening on October 1st.

Not a big deal but still a happy matter to me! Since I will get higher pay!

And and !! and !  ladies and gentlemen, I'm gonna watch CATS this Friday, October 1st! Hurray!
